Azzurra was born in Florence where she began her first dance studies.
In 1995 she’s admitted to the first course of the Teatro alla Scala ballet school where she graduates in 2002.

She immediately becomes part of the Corps de Ballet of the Teatro alla Scala, participating in all the tours in the most prestigious world theaters, and dancing in all the productions of both the classical and contemporary repertoire of the most important choreographers in the world of dance.

Among the main ballet: Swan Lake (Nureyev and Bourmeister), Giselle (Chauvirè), Sleeping Beauty (Nureyev), Romeo and Juliet (M. Millan, Sasha Waltz), The Nutcracker (R. Nureyev, Balanchine), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (G.Balanchine), Manon (K. Mac Millan), Onegin (J.Cranko), Don Chiquotte (R.Nureyev), La Strada (M.Pistoni), L’Arlesienne (R.Petit), Coppella (D .Deane), Le Sacre du printemps, the 4 soloists (M.Bejart), The Cage (J. Robbins), Cenerentola (R.Nureyev), La Bayadere (N.Makarova) Mediterranea, Handel project (M. Bigonzetti), In the middle (Forsythe), Woolf Works (Wayne McGregor), Symphony in C and jewels (Balanchine), Sylvia (Legris), La Dame aux Camélias (Neumeier), Opera (Ratmansky) L’altro Casanova ( G.Schiavoni) in which she danced in couple with Marta Romagna, principal dancer.

The operas: Un giorno di regno, Iffigenia at Aulis, Moise et Pharaon, La Traviata, Dido and Aeneas dancing the main role with guest Robert Tewsley and the honor of rehearsing with McGregor.
